Hi littlegirlwholovestobakesandcooks,
I refer to your comment your left here earlier. I have tried replying your question via email but it doesn't seems to go thru. If you read this comment, just want to let you know the link that you have provided is about a banana cake recipe.

Hi Happy Homebaker,
i have left my job in Sep'09 to have more time with my 2 kids. I hv bn browsing baking blogs like yours and really encouraged to start baking after admiring at your yummy photos... hv a few unsuccessful attempts previously (using convection function in a microwave oven). The convection function is not working now which perhaps give me a good excuse to buy a new electric oven but not sure which brand / model to go for. Would appreciate your kind advice (i m staying in malaysia). Many thanks.

Hi, welcome to the SAHM club ;)
I am sorry I am not able to recommend a good oven as I am not using a good one myself ;p
My oven is a tefal tabletop oven, very small, only 20L and can only fit in one tray no bigger than 10x12" and it has only one set of heating coil and no fan. Perfects you should look for one that doesn't have the above features! I think a good oven should have both top and bottom heating and if it comes with a fan, the temperature will be more even. also check the door to make sure it can close firmly. Do get an oven thermometer so that you know when the oven has been preheated to the required temperature. hope you find this useful.

Tks, now i hv some points to ask the saleman at the electrical shop. Really look forward to be happy homebaker, though the end product may not be as yummy looking as yours but guess the joy of baking with 2 little kids will be far more rewarding :D
