I left the grated gula melaka on a slightly damp plate, and it started melting away. or could it be that you chopped the gula melaka into big chunks instead of grating it?Happy Homebakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15310704979379806678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4805570821469912515.post-69526291736623455132011-10-26T12:34:24.589+08:002011-10-26T12:34:24.589+08:00I've make the above using your recipe. Drain the sweet potato n use the liquid as part of the amt of water needed in recipe. The reason i dont boil is nutrients lost n it will absorb more water during boiling.
2. i just use gula melaka without the additional white sugar. Dont grate, cut into cubes n chill. When ready for wrapping then u take out from fridge. i think this method is much easier to wrap.
May :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4805570821469912515.post-5099176193131192812011-10-12T16:12:18.064+08:002011-10-12T16:12:18.064+08:00One of my family's favourite!
