I'm sorry, since I have not used konnyaku powder, I do not know whether it will take longer to set? So instead of using 250ml boiling water, I used 200ml and added the whole can of carnation milk so my total liquid is 600ml as compared to your 550ml.<br /><br />However, it's too sweet for us. I've always thought evaporated milk is unsweetened.
