Since the cream is already added with sugar, you just need to whip it, you need not add any sugar to it. Hope this helps :)Happy Homebakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15310704979379806678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4805570821469912515.post-39322117897836054352007-12-08T17:28:00.000+08:002007-12-08T17:28:00.000+08:00hi, i would like out this gorgeous cake... I threw away the box, so can't really recall the colour of the packaging.Happy Homebakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15310704979379806678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4805570821469912515.post-44391216937073356542007-05-05T14:11:00.000+08:002007-05-05T14:11:00.000+08:00Hi SH,What's the color of the packaging of the whi...Hi SH,

What's the color of the packaging of the whipping cream you bought? You should try PH whipping cream, the house brand is "Red man".

Elyn, thanks!

Eliza, I will keep a look out for your photos of the Hokkaido milk loaf :) I will also try it again soon...may add in other flavourings such as cranberries or wolfberries.Happy Homebakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15310704979379806678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4805570821469912515.post-76845210482027242732007-05-04T05:48:00.000+08:002007-05-04T05:48:00.000+08:00hmmm...yummy. i don't mind baking cake but i don't...hmmm...yummy. i don't mind baking cake but i don't have the audience to help me finish it :)

i've tried the hokkaido milk loaf last week, but didn't take pics yet. my hubby wants me to bake again this week and i'll remember to take pics. it's very delicious!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4805570821469912515.post-45686103673798323342007-05-03T21:49:00.000+08:002007-05-03T21:49:00.000+08:00The cake sure look yummy! It gets a bit dense while refrigerated. I agree with your little boys, its like eating a super fudgy brownie :) I haven't tried Phoon Huat's whipping cream, but if you say it's better than Avoset, then I think I wanna try it if I do get the chance. I agree the cake without the crumbs is pretty nice especially the peaks you've created on top :)Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01632639896426211250noreply@blogger.com
